Kent Horse Rescue Mother and Foal time at the Hay Bar Club

Mother and foal time at the hay bar club in the sunshine.

These are 3 foals born at our centre in the spring from the mares we rescued.

It will soon be weaning time and Buddy and Teddy ( the 2 foals in the centre) will be weaned first. Star and Angel need to stay together as they were very behind with weight gain and we were not sure if both would make it due to star’s poor condition.

If you can help with Star and Angel’s ongoing care they very much need support in every way.

Please donate and help us we are completely overwhelmed with the expense of running costs. All the rescue work is done by volunteers.

Kent Horse Rescue has a 98% rehabilitation success and most rescues then go on to help disadvantaged Adults and Children. We Rehabilitate to such a degree that we have 3 therapy centres helping us, and then helping the ponies to a lovely life of ridden or companion therapy careers.
It is hard to imagine that so many ponies do not get what they need in life and Kent Horse Rescue is working hard in the Horse Crisis in various ways.

We have a NO kill, NO breed and NO sell policy.

The winter is around the corner and already we are called out by concerned members of the public to horses of concern as they pass by.
When we go our volunteers are using their own vehicles and petrol and that is getting very costly. We have a horse ambulance and we need support to run her. Please help in anyway you can. Each time you donate you are saving a horse, or helping with the ones in care receiving the very best Vet, a lovely stable with warm bedding, and food a plenty.

You can donate in many different ways to Kent Horse Rescue through our Donation Page ,or you could pop a cheque in the post: Please write a cheque to:
